Income Certificate in Uttar Pradesh: Eligibility, Documents and Online Application

Short answer

An income certificate (Aay Praman Patra) states your family annual income and is issued by the Tehsil through the UP e-District portal. You apply online with an ID proof, address proof and a self-declaration of income; after Lekhpal and Tehsildar verification, the digitally signed certificate is available for download. It is normally treated as valid for a limited period, so check the requirement of the office asking for it.
